Service Interruption

We have just been advised that our internet access may be lost shortly and could possibly take several days to be restored due to the flooding in the Brisbane CBD (our ISP's main data center has been forced onto it's backup power generators and may run out of fuel before supplies can reach it).

While the website will continue to function (it's hosted in Sydney) our ability to get email and respond to forum/support requests will be compromised. To add to that we've also been advised that power to the Brisbane office may be turned off as the local sub-station could be flooded. (We're fine it's just the sub-station that will be affected.)

Priority Support Clients

For clients on priority support contracts the impact will be minimal as resources based outside of Brisbane will be able to address any job tickets, due to the reduced personnel response time may be slightly slower than normal.

Monitoring Clients

Monitoring of client websites should be unaffected by outages in Brisbane as they are based out of facilities in Sydney. Response times to issues may be slightly impacted due to Brisbane staff not being able to access the internet.

We will update you once things improve. In the meantime we hope you're all safe and dry and that the other side of this weather event finds you all well.

Ad-hoc Support Clients

Ad-hoc support clients may experience longer than normal delays if Brisbane staff are unable to access the internet, but we will endeavour to address support tickets promptly where possible.

Notification times and Job Scheduling

All contract support clients will notified once services return to normal.

If you have any concerns or are expecting to request larger than normal works please contact your Client Manager to enable us to help schedule.

New ad-hoc work (as opposed to support) will not be undertaken at this time.

Delayed Response Times week 16th Dec - 24th Dec 2010

This is just a quick reminder we are relocating offices and services over this week to the lovely bustling city of Brisbane. As such our offices are migrating some 1200km and the process will naturally take some time.

During this time most services will be unaffected as they are all in cloud - however responses that require interaction with a human will be delayed as we we move them and their equipment to their new location. Please bear with us during the reduced service period - we will try an get to all of our support subscribers as promptly as possible.

About Us

CPPL is a made up of a few talented people that aim to provide our clients with a level of IT expertise that their organisation can not afford nor justify on a full-time basis. Through a combination of support contracts, managed services, and retainers we're able to facilitate our clients in the ownership of their web services without adding to the work load of their often over-loaded IT departments.
